Color, dimensions and workmanship need clear references when buying embroidered lace, trims or fabric. At Zhijin, we confirm the product specification before bulk production and check embroidery during production. Buyers can make that process more precise by agreeing on the sample, measurement basis and inspection requirements at the start.

    Start with an agreed specification

Before bulk production, confirm the material, color, width, pattern, technique, order quantity, packing and delivery time. If the sample has been revised, identify which version has been accepted.

Inspection should be based on those agreed details. A broad request for good quality is less specific than identifying the dimensions, visual appearance and decorative elements you want checked.

Use a physical color reference where color is critical

Lighting, screen display, material, dyeing batches and production batches can affect the appearance of color. A product photograph is useful for choosing a direction, but it should not be the only reference for a strict color requirement.

Provide a Pantone number, color card or physical reference, and discuss the sample before approving production. Confirm which physical sample is the color reference and how any acceptable difference will be reviewed. A reference code or photograph alone should not be treated as a guarantee of an exact match across all materials.

Agree on finished width and length

Lace trims and embroidered webbings are often sold by the yard, and some styles use a nominal ten-yard piece or roll. Water-soluble finishing, shaping or other finishing processes may affect the finished dimensions.

For some products, a nominal ten-yard length may finish at around 9.65 yards. That example is not a universal shrinkage allowance and should not be assumed for every style. Before ordering, agree on the finished length, measurement method and the quantity basis used in the quotation.

If your garment or accessory requires a specific finished dimension, state it in the brief and check it on the sample. Any permitted variation should be agreed for the product rather than inferred from a general example.

Check the embroidery and decorative attachment

During production, Zhijin checks embroidery workmanship, thread condition, pattern stability, bead and sequin attachment and overall appearance. The relevant points depend on the technique and the actual product.

For a beaded or sequined item, identify the decorative areas you want reviewed. For a lace trim or neckline piece, confirm the pattern and dimensions against the sample. If your project requires a particular test or inspection procedure, discuss that requirement before the order; a general workmanship check does not establish an unspecified test result.

Agree on the inspection and release arrangement

Photos or videos can be provided before shipment when requested. They help review visible details and order progress, but they do not replace every physical measurement or test. Factory visits, video inspections and goods inspections can be discussed according to the order requirements.

Record the agreed inspection points and any issue that needs resolution before dispatch. This gives both buyer and manufacturer a clear basis for the shipment decision.

    • Accepted sample version and product specification
    • Physical color reference where required
    • Finished dimensions and agreed measurement basis
    • Embroidery appearance and bead or sequin attachment
    • Requested photos, video or goods inspection before dispatch
