For a trim wholesaler, a colour forecast is most useful when it helps organise a range customers can understand. Our October 2026 reading of the Spring/Summer 2027 direction starts with colour relationships: a confident accent, a softer floral pairing and an easy companion. The products shown are actual All4Lace samples selected for this discussion.

    The published colour signal

WGSN and Coloro’s S/S 27 selection includes Luminous Blue, Energy Orange, Pop Pink, Meadowland Green and Clay.

The buying decision is how to combine a confident accent with familiar companions. A workshop decorating plain garments may need one striking edge; a shop selling short trim lengths may need a broader floral selection. Decide which customer and garment each colour serves before adding it to the range.

Blue-orange contrast gives the motif a clear role

The layered-flower samples show separate blue and orange borders. Connected flowers make the colour visible as a shaped edge, rather than a plain stripe. Try blue against a quiet garment base, orange as a smaller accent, or the two as alternative colour options. These photographs are visual references, not verified matches to forecast colour codes.

Pink-green florals can soften the display

Green leaf shapes connect smaller pink and yellow accents in this sample. Read the balance of areas: a green framework can carry a small bright flower without making the entire trim look equally saturated. Put the actual trim beside a customer’s dress fabric and decide whether the leaves, flowers or visible ground should lead.

Offer a quieter colour rhythm alongside the accent

The soft-blue flower chain separates small cool-toned motifs with visible space. Beside the saturated floral border, it gives the range another visual tempo. Keep the garment use comparable when asking customers to choose. A preference for the softer sample might concern the motif spacing as much as the colour itself; record both, rather than calling one shade a universal bestseller.

Build a colour request your supplier can answer

Send product references, the intended garment, a physical or clearly identified colour reference, and quantity per colour. Explain which colours already sell and which are a trial. Ask for a numbered catalogue and samples before planning the full range. An approved sample should show the whole combination, including the base, rather than one isolated thread.
