All4Lace catalogue photograph used as a visual reference. Confirm the actual sample, colour and construction before ordering.

Metallic-looking braid can appear different beside satin, matte lining or beading. A screen photograph cannot establish the final match. Treat gold and silver as descriptions of appearance until the actual material and colour are confirmed on a physical sample.

    Read the construction

Label each sample with its reference, side and viewing direction. Compare it next to the exact base fabric, lining and nearby accessories under the lighting relevant to sale and use. Photograph the arrangement for communication, but retain the physical sample as the reference.

    Test the intended placement

Sew a small band onto the real construction. Turn it so the braid catches light at several angles and check whether raised knots create distracting dark gaps or bright flashes. Look again after the intended pressing or finishing step only if that step is compatible.

    Write the approval record

Approve a dated sample set and state the allowed viewing conditions, trim side and adjacent materials. Avoid promising a numeric colour match without an agreed instrument method and tolerance. Reconfirm a later lot against the retained approved sample.
